Police officer Fang Jixian (played by Ren Changding) has recently encountered quite a bit of trouble. Due to co-signing a loan for a friend, he has unwittingly gotten himself into a mess and become a client with a bad credit reputation. The debt collector, Jin Wuling (played by Yan Zhiwen), is a relentless "deadly" female telemarketer dedicated to her job, whose unique skill is calling debtors every 30 minutes, day and night. Whenever Fang Jixian is on an important mission to catch key suspects, he always receives Jin Wuling's debt collection calls, ruining all his efforts. However, due to a twist of fate, Fang Jixian helps Jin Wuling retrieve her lost wallet, and his sincerity touches her heart, leading her to believe she has met her true love. This pair of supposed lovebirds does not realize that they are actually each other's most hated person.
