The special school, Light School, aims to improve its graduates' employment opportunities by organizing a musical. The school’s music teacher, Xu Baowen (played by Gu Zurin), faces increasing pressure as the performance date approaches. The musical also involves students from the prestigious Cuiying Secondary School, but ultimately only Qian Siyi (played by Yu Xiangning), who struggles academically, continues as a volunteer while dealing with pressure from family and school. Meanwhile, Teacher Kong from Yucai Secondary School (played by Ou Jintang) brings in new immigrant Chen Li and volunteer Wu Jiahao (played by Cen Jiaqi) to assist. Initially, both Jiahao and Siyi are indifferent toward the musical, but their attitudes gradually change as their classmates put in great effort for the performance.
