Kanto TV is about to launch a new drama, and the acclaimed screenwriter known as the queen of romantic dramas, Mayumi Tanigawa (played by Kyoko Fukada), has been invited to write the script. However, with the premiere approaching, Tanigawa's script is still struggling to come together. The TV station is increasingly anxious, and the internal script and production departments have their own hidden agendas, making the fate of the new drama even more unpredictable. In a critical moment, the production department sends a novice producer, Masaya Nakai (played by Kippei Shiina), to oversee Tanigawa's creative process.
