The story takes place in Taiwan in the 1980s. Zhu Dade (played by Zhu Ge Liang) was an ordinary photographer living a peaceful life with his daughter Zhu Xiaoqin (played by Guo Caijie), relying on each other. Later, they moved to the big city seeking development and a better life. However, through a series of misunderstandings, Zhu Dade unexpectedly became a mafia boss, creating a rift between him and Zhu Xiaoqin. One day, Zhu Dade met a fortune teller named Lao He (also played by Zhu Ge Liang), and they bore an astonishing resemblance to each other. Unfortunately, Lao He was mistaken for Zhu Dade and lost his life. After Lao He's death, he left behind his lonely son He Xiang (played by Yang Youning). Thus, Zhu Dade sought out He Xiang, and together they formed the "DL Special Forces," determined to avenge Lao He with Zhu Xiaoqin's support, who reconciled with her father.
