The father of the Jiang family (played by Park In-hwan) opened a family inn using their savings on a desolate mountain on the outskirts of Seoul, hoping for tourists to come and stay. The son (played by Song Kang-ho) is a useless fellow, the two daughters have different thoughts, and the uncle living with them (played by Choi Min-sik) is at a mature age but still single. After the inn opened, no one visited, leaving the whole family extremely disappointed. Finally, their first guest arrived, but he mysteriously committed suicide the next morning, leaving behind no money or any identification. To preserve the inn's reputation, the family decided to secretly bury the body in the mountain. The next guest was a couple who, unexpectedly, also committed suicide in the inn. With the experience from the first incident, the family didn't hesitate to bury the body. Since then, strange events began to occur one after another at the inn, and the Jiang family instinctively buried the bodies in the mountain. The worst part was that the government decided to build a road near the inn, prompting the family to find ways to cope with even more challenges...
