Erguio (played by Gael García Bernal) is a very macho man who insists on being in control of every aspect of his daily life with his wife, Susana (played by Verónica Echegui). Over time, the increasingly patient Susana finally decides to fight back by leaving home without warning. In reality, Erguio deeply loves his wife but struggles to express his feelings due to his personality. He embarks on a journey to find Susana, only to angrily discover that she seems to be getting along very well with a poet named Slimir (played by Björn Hlynur Haraldsson) after leaving him. After facing many twists and turns, Erguio and Susana manage to reconcile, but can he truly change his bad habits?
