Sayano Suzume (played by Mei Nagano) grows up freely in the countryside, with an innocent and cheerful personality. Suzume gets accepted into a high school in Tokyo, which means she must leave her parents and start a new life in this bustling and fashionable city. However, her life seems to be off to a rocky start; on her way to her uncle's house, she faints, but fortunately, she meets a man named Shishiou Itsuki (played by Shohei Miura). To her surprise, Suzume discovers that there is a familiar mole on the back of Itsuki's neck. The next day at school, Suzume finds out that Itsuki is actually her homeroom teacher. Later, she forms a friendship with her seatmate, Daiki Mamura (played by Aran Shirahama). As time passes, the relationships between Suzume, Itsuki, and Daiki start to become ambiguous, and caught between the two men, Suzume is unsure of what choice to make.
