This film is adapted from the eponymous story in "One Thousand and One Nights," enhancing the comedic aspect of the legendary tale. The naive and optimistic Alibaba (played by Fernandel) is the servant of Master Casimodo, who orders him to buy the dancer Morgiana (played by Samia Gamal) at the market. Casimodo has ulterior motives towards the dancer, and Alibaba devises a plan to rescue Morgiana. On the way to buy a pet for Morgiana, the forty thieves ambush a caravan, and Alibaba hides in a wicker basket, sneaking into the thieves' treasure cave and memorizing the opening incantation. With the endless gold and jewels in the cave, Alibaba transforms into Master Ali and marries Morgiana. Hearing rumors, the leader of the forty thieves comes to investigate, while the thieves hiding in the wine cellar are eager to regain their treasure at the banquet. The devout Alibaba believes that Allah has entrusted this wealth to him for a unique purpose…
