Hitch (Will Smith) has an accurate understanding of men's weaknesses: when pursuing someone, their eagerness to gain the other person's affection often leads them to come off as awkward and lose their charm. Hitch has developed a comprehensive and exclusive theory to help men successfully win over their dates' hearts within the first three outings, providing practical strategies for dining, holding hands, and kissing during the dates. Hitch's latest client is a chubby man named Albert (Kevin James). Naturally gentle, he has fallen for a popular actress. Consequently, a complete makeover for Albert becomes unavoidable. More importantly, he unexpectedly falls for the actress's journalist assistant, Sara (Eva Mendes). This dating expert, who has always lacked love in his own life, begins to experience the scent of love. However, it seems that love in reality is different from what he usually designs. The infallible rules of romance fail him. Perhaps his knowledge of love is still far from mastery.
