The charming male protagonist Marc Marlonier (Gaspard Proust) is a distinguished literary critic by day and a socialite columnist by night. He has just divorced, ending three years of romantic life with his wife. He has always firmly believed in the saying that love only lasts three years, even writing an article to support this viewpoint. At this point, he holds a strong opposition to marriage and declares that he will never believe in love again. Marc meets his cousin Alice (Louise Bourgoin) at his grandmother's funeral, and the beautiful Alice turns Marc's previous beliefs upside down, leading to a rapid romance between them. The sweet couple enjoys music together and strolls through the streets of Paris, everything seems to be developing perfectly. However, what Marc doesn’t know is that Alice is the author of a book called "Love Lasts Three Years." Will the two of them ultimately be able to achieve a love that lasts "forever"?
