The story takes place at Zenryoku High School in Tokyo, where the baseball team has an unprecedentedly weak performance, constantly losing and finishing last in every league. Over time, the principal finally issued a warning to disband the incompetent baseball team and its coach, Nobuyuki Dojishi (played by Tetsuji Tamayama).
