Hellboy (David Harbour) was originally summoned as a bioweapon by the Nazis, but was fortunate to be rescued and helped by Professor Broom (Ian McShane). Under the professor's guidance and training, Hellboy gradually grew up and later joined the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, becoming the agency's ace warrior.
