Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore) is a spoiled Chihuahua living a lavish life in Beverly Hills. When her owner Aunt Viv (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) goes away on a trip, she assigns the task of taking care of Chloe to Angela (played by Ali Hillis). Angela takes Chloe and her friends on a trip to the beaches of Mexico. Upon arriving, the girls are immediately attracted to the fit and handsome young men, while Chloe, under Angela’s "boys over dogs" attitude, gets lost in the vast city of Mexico. The shabby streets look drastically different from Beverly Hills. In desperation, Chloe must seek help from some new friends, including a complex German Shepherd named Delgado (played by Andy Garcia) and a romantic little pup named Papi (played by George Lopez). With their assistance, Chloe picks herself up and sets out to find her way home...
