This is an era where aliens coexist with humans. Under the oppression and domination of alien immigrants, the centuries-old spirit of the samurai has declined. However, in the face of this downfall, there remains a group of people who silently adhere to their principles and justice. The young and downfallen Shinpachi Shimura (played by Masaki Suda) unexpectedly meets the owner of the Odd Jobs, Gintoki Sakata (played by Shun Oguri), and the alien girl Kagura (played by Kanna Hashimoto), and the three become friends.
