On May 16, 2014, a murder occurred in the Raebong-dong residential area. Go Dong-ho (played by Son Hyun-joo) found his wife, Jang Yeon-soo (played by Yoon Ji-won), brutally murdered in their home, and the killer was never caught. After his wife's death, Dong-ho fell into despair and depression, struggling to cope with life. His only daughter, Go Kyung-lim, also suffered greatly due to her father’s despondency. One day, a year later, due to an anomaly in the magnetic field, Dong-ho discovers he can actually communicate with his wife from a year ago over the phone. From their conversation, he receives a clue to save her life, but he only has one day to do it.
