The Qing army, led by Feng Huo Lian Cheng (played by Sun Honglei), approaches Wu Village, aiming to eliminate the hidden resistance forces within the borders, with Wu Village being the primary target of the siege. On the surface, Wu Village appears to be inhabited by farmers, but in fact, it is home to members of the anti-Qing organization Tiandihui. The entire village prepares to resist, but their strength is limited. The danger closes in, and the wandering doctor Fu Qingzhu (played by Liu Jialiang), witnessing injustice, brings two young villagers, Wu Yuanying (played by Yang Caieni) and Han Zhibang (played by Lu Yi), to seek help from Tianshan. The reclusive master Huiming, skilled in sword forging, resides on the ice-covered Tianshan Mountain, where he keeps seven rare swords. His disciples include the eldest, Chu Zhaonan (played by Donnie Yen), the second, Yang Yuncong (played by Leon Lai), the third, Xin Longzi (played by Dai Liwu), and the fourth, Mu Lang (played by Zhou Qunda). Master Huiming believes Wu Yuanying and Han Zhibang are also promising candidates for training. Together with Fu Qingzhu, he decides to share the seven treasured swords he has honed throughout his life with the seven individuals, marking the legendary martial arts tale of "The Seven Swords Descend from Tianshan."
