In Gyeonggi-do, civil servant Kang Mina (played by Choi Kang-hee) works hard and is straightforward, but after an impulsive act, she is suspended for two months. At the same time, her unreliable fiancé reveals his true nature, leading to a breakup. Her father back home is hospitalized due to illness and entrusts the stationery store he has operated for a lifetime to her for transfer. During her suspension, Mina has the time to manage the store and handle the inventory. This stationery store, located at the entrance of Geyang Elementary School, had caused young Mina a lot of grievances, and she just wants to transfer it as soon as possible. On the other hand, her former classmate, Choi Kwang-ho (played by Bong Tae-kyu), who also graduated from Geyang Elementary, returns to his alma mater as a teacher.
