Friends throw a party for Paul (Jason Lee), who is about to enter the marriage hall, hoping he can enjoy his last moments of being single at the party. However, the honest and straightforward Paul doesn't intend to use this party for one last fling. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. The next day, when Paul drowsily wakes up from his sleep, he discovers a strange beauty lying next to him, and he has no idea what happened between him and this woman. Worse yet, Paul is shocked to find out that this ambiguous beauty is none other than his fiancée's cousin, Becky (Julia Stiles)! This revelation terrifies Paul, as he can find no suitable excuse for his behavior.
