Young hitman Si Tu Chun Yun (Chapman To) and his senior, Xi Yang (Gordon Lam), are hired to come to Hong Kong from the mainland. Due to information leaks, the two are separated midway and agree to meet on the terrace of a building. Penniless Chun Yun waits for Xi Yang, but instead encounters a cold wave and a severe cold, eventually collapsing on the ground. A small-time screenwriter living in the building, Zhu Ge Tou Jiu (Wong Cho Lam), discovers Chun Yun, a kind-hearted yet somewhat fussy little man, and takes him home to care for him.
