The story begins in a prison called Cleidemore, where some very terrifying events took place many years ago, leading to its closure. Years have passed, and people who have gradually forgotten the past tragedy decide to reopen the prison. Horton (played by Arlen Dean Snyder) is sent here to become the prison warden. In fact, this is not Horton’s first visit to Cleidemore; he was once a guard here. After the prison reopens, the inmates and the staff gradually discover that some scientifically unexplainable evil events are occurring in the prison, especially affecting the inmates, who suffer inhumane torment.
