The town of Machitakawa was once the site of a U.S. military base, where the locals are heavily Westernized yet deeply scarred. Young girl Mako (played by Meiko Kaji) roams the streets all day with her girlfriends, doing nothing; meanwhile, the youth group "Eagles," led by "Baron" (played by Tatsuya Fuji), recklessly drives around in U.S. military jeeps, showing off.
