The story takes place in a small village in England, where maid Dora (Merle Tottenham) lives with her employer, Mrs. Bramson (Dame May Whitty). Dora's boyfriend Danny (Robert Montgomery) has earned Mrs. Bramson's trust, but her niece Olivia (Rosalind Russell) constantly warns her aunt to be cautious of the young man, although Mrs. Bramson clearly does not heed her advice.
