Marilla (Elizabeth Taylor) is a renowned movie star in the industry, and a death at a banquet puts her in a dangerous situation. The victim died from a poisoned drink that was meant for Marilla. The police quickly intervened in the investigation, and as the clues unfolded, Marilla's husband Jason (Rock Hudson) became the prime suspect. Unfortunately, the situation didn't end there; mysterious anonymous calls and strange blackmail notes pushed Marilla's mental state to the brink of collapse. Is Jason really the killer?
