Harper (Jessie Buckley) has just ended her marriage, which was nothing short of a nightmare for her. Harper's husband, James (Paapa Essiedu), is a highly neurotic and possessive man. After numerous intense arguments, Harper finally decides to leave him. However, at this pivotal moment, James falls to his death right in front of Harper. This incident, while saving Harper from the suffocating relationship, casts an indelible shadow over her soul. To heal, Harper retreats to a picturesque countryside, renting a large house there. Initially, the tranquility of life there helps her gradually forget the pain, but soon the bizarre behaviors of various unsettling men around her completely shatter this peace.
