In 1978, beautiful girl Zig (Sadie Sink) and her siblings go to summer camp, only to be bullied by other girls. These girls imitate the punishment of the witch Sarah Fier, binding Zig to a tree and humiliating her. After being rescued, Zig finds a diary of a female doctor in the infirmary, which contains information about the witch and details of the 1965 murder of a female star. It turns out that the murderer in the 1965 case is the daughter of the female doctor, who firmly believes that her kind daughter must have been possessed by the witch's curse to commit such horrific acts. Soon after, the female doctor causes a malignant event, and Zig's sister Cindy (Emily Rudd) believes that the doctor is possessed by the witch.
