On the streets of New Orleans, rumors about a mysterious new pill begin to spread, a pill that can unlock the unique superpowers of each user. But the problem is: no one knows what will happen after taking it. Some people evolve into having bulletproof skin, invisibility, and super strength, while many others exhibit more deadly reactions. However, when the pill causes crime in the city to escalate to dangerous levels, local police officer (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) teams up with a teenage dealer (played by Dominique Fishback) and a vengeful ex-soldier (played by Jamie Foxx) to confront the situation head-on, risking taking the pills themselves to track down and stop the team behind the creation of the drug.
