C.J. and Sebastian, a pair of high school best friends, are science whizzes from Brooklyn who pour their hearts into their latest invention: a backpack that can transport people through time. When C.J.'s brother Kevin is accidentally shot by a police officer, C.J. and Sebastian decide to take a desperate gamble and use their unfinished backpack to travel back in time, hoping to save Kevin.
