A young boy gets electrocuted while climbing a high cable road sign tower. As he grows up, he discovers that sparks of electricity can flash from his fists when he is enraged. Somewhere else in Tokyo, there is an electronic genius who happens to be a volunteer policeman with a penchant for electronic weapons. When the two draw each other's attention, an inevitable battle is about to ignite the entire city... Almost a subversion and critique of traditional cinematic techniques, the character played by Tadanobu Asano can manipulate electric currents and communicate with reptiles. Asano once again unleashes his eccentric and flamboyant acting style, portraying the character as a passionate, decadent, and repressed maniac, challenging the famous "Tetsuo."
