A series of assassination events suddenly occur in a peaceful city, with the victims being the former subordinates of retired special forces Colonel John (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger). His old boss Kirby visits John's mountain cabin to issue a warning. John, who has been in seclusion for a long time, just wants to enjoy life with his young daughter Jenny, not wanting to get involved in revenge killings again.
