Siko has been an abandoned baby since childhood. The couple who found her sold her to a Kabuki theater when she grew up, and there she was taken as a concubine by a monk. When the monk died, her mother-in-law believed she was a "Lucky Woman" who would bring good fortune to men. She later changed careers and started working at a bank, where she met the man she loved, Suzuki Shumizu. Because she brought luck to men, she continually became entangled in their dirty schemes for success. From this film, we can also see the director's clear depiction of the relationship between large sums of money in political operations and the mentality of treating women as objects.
