Directed by Jonathan Prince, this teen comedy depicts a group of kids who pretend to attend summer camp according to their parents' wishes. With the help of their high school's drama teacher, Vick, they create a camp that operates by their own rules, and everyone has a great time. One boy gets injured while playing with fireworks and visits a doctor, who discovers the truth and initially plans to report it. However, Vick and the kids plead with him to reconsider. Meanwhile, parents eagerly look forward to visiting day at the camp to see their children. Vick tries to avoid them, but the parents show up anyway, eventually uncovering the big secret. The film is light-hearted and lively, with a constructive theme that prompts reflection for parents.
