Bingo is an unremarkable dog that became best friends with Cindy after it bravely rescued a drowning boy named Chuck (played by Robert J. Steinmiller Jr.). However, Cindy's family cannot accommodate it, and when they move, they leave it behind in their old house. Bingo is determined to find its loyal little master, leading to a thousand-mile search story. Bingo's journey is filled with numerous difficulties and fresh challenges. It rescues a family from a robbery, gets mistakenly thrown into jail, and then begins a Bingo-style "prison break" drama. Finally, it returns to Chuck's side, only to find that Chuck seems to have forgotten it. The bond between Bingo and its master appears to require another trial to receive proof.
