During the U.S. troop withdrawal in 2021, a group of missionaries evacuated from a village in Afghanistan while a SEAL Team helicopter was shot down by a group of insurgents. A SEAL Team captain, Richard Mirko (played by Johnny Strong), was thrown from the wreckage and miraculously survived the crash. Mirko continues to search for the missionaries but discovers their vehicle has been ambushed, finding only one survivor: a wounded 5-year-old child. Mirko must now navigate the challenges posed by hostile insurgents, guiding the child to safety and surviving in the harsh Afghan wilderness.
