Marquis (Omar Epps) flies with his family to a remote Appalachian area for his father's funeral, but a storm causes the plane to lose control on the way. When Marquis wakes up, he is injured and trapped alone in Ms. Eloise's (Loretta Devine) attic. Ms. Eloise claims to have used Marquis's blood and skin to create a voodoo Boogity and plans to use the Boogity to heal him.
