A mysterious infectious disease breaks out in Malaysia, and the special drug MD5 researched by the local pharmaceutical company AMANAH becomes a miraculous remedy for patients. However, journalist Song Danwen, who has been closely following the disease, dies unexpectedly, followed by the suicide of the son of AMANAH president Zhang Rishan (played by Zheng Zeshi) in the office. Police investigations reveal that Zhang's son was a victim of homicide. Meanwhile, Zhang's wife, Peng Zhenmei (played by Zhou Xiuna), secretly flees to Hong Kong, carrying confidential materials that attract the attention of various forces. Hong Kong police officer Wang Dawei (played by Wu Zhenyu) and Malaysian Royal Police officer Li Yongqin (played by Zhang Zhilin) meet to assist in the investigation of this series of cases.
