Renowned photographer Yudai Kiharasaka (played by Takumi Saito) is embroiled in a lawsuit due to a fire incident. In the fire, the blind model he hired tragically lost her life, and Kiharasaka himself was seriously injured. Following the incident, he faced charges of abduction, confinement, and murder, but ultimately escaped punishment with the help of a lawyer. Later, freelance writer Kyosuke Yamato (played by Masaki Iwata) approaches the editor-in-chief of a certain weekly magazine, Yoshiki Kobayashi (played by Kazuki Kitamura), hoping the magazine will support his investigation into the darker side of Kiharasaka. After gaining the magazine's approval, Yamato visits Kiharasaka, allowing him to closely observe the mysterious photographer's working state, understand his inner thoughts, and visit those closely related to his life, only to unexpectedly find himself stepping into Kiharasaka's trap... This film is based on a novel by Akutagawa Prize-winning author Fumiyuki Nakamura.
