The story follows designer Suiyama Satoru (played by Kazunari Ninomiya) as he meets the mysterious woman Miyuki (played by Haru) in a café, and he is drawn to Miyuki, who shares his values. He then suggests exchanging contact information, but Miyuki politely declines, saying, "When we want to meet, we can meet." Thus, they meet every Thursday at the café, growing closer. However, when Suiyama Satoru is ready to propose to Miyuki, she does not show up at the café on Thursday... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Takeshi Kitano.
