On the streets of Seoul late at night, taxi drivers frequently find business cards from escorts with phone numbers attached. Former police officer Jong-ho (played by Kim Yun-seok) has a group of escorts under his supervision, and although he appears rough and brutal, he seems to lack understanding towards them. Recently, several of his escorts have gone missing, and he suspects that someone is deliberately trafficking them. In a fit of rage, he flips through the registry in search of clues and eventually identifies a suspicious phone number ending with 4885. Coincidentally, this phone number receives a call for an escort at that moment. Jong-ho sends Mi-jin (played by Seo Yeong-hie) to respond. Mi-jin, who is home sick with a fever, wants to refuse, but she cannot argue against Jong-ho and reluctantly leaves her seven-year-old daughter at home. Jong-ho instructs her to note the address and text it to him, reminding her not to mess up. Jong-ho also follows her secretly, hoping to catch this trafficker. When Mi-jin enters the room with the number 4885, Ji Yeong-min (played by Jung-woo Ha), she realizes it's too late; in this place with no signal, Ji Yeong-min intends to brutally kill her... Losing contact with Mi-jin, Jong-ho starts searching everywhere. After encountering Ji Yeong-min and deducing he is the murderer from the blood on him, he chases him down and brings him to the police station. However, the police's indifference and Ji Yeong-min's shocking calmness complicate the investigation. Ji Yeong-min claims that Mi-jin may still be alive, and Jong-ho refuses to give up hope of finding her, relentlessly pursuing the case.
