Jack (Griffin Dunne) and David (David Naughton) are friends from America who often travel together. During one of their trips, they are attacked by a terrifying werewolf in a marsh in England. Jack dies instantly, while David is injured. The villagers from a nearby town rescue David and provide him with a place to recuperate. Since the injury, Jack frequently appears in David's hallucinations, telling him that he has the bloodline of a werewolf. To prevent harming innocent people, Jack encourages David to end his life sooner rather than later. Sure enough, the morning after the full moon, several corpses appear, causing panic in the town, and only Jack understands that he is the cause of it all. Jack wants to confess, but no one in the town is willing to believe him.
