The comedy "Permission" tells the story of a couple who strengthen their relationship by sleeping with other people. The film is written and directed by Brian Crano, featuring protagonists Anna (Rebecca Hall) and Will (Dan Stevens), a couple who have been together for many years. They are first loves, each other's first kiss, and first experiences, with a strong relationship but lacking passion. At Anna's 30th birthday party, Will prepares to propose, but their drunken friends interrupt him, drunkenly suggesting they should hold off on marriage and explore other "scenery." Unintentionally spoken, it resonates with Anna, who becomes intrigued and discusses starting an "experiment" with Will: to engage in sexual relations with others under the framework of monogamy.
