The Miller family seems to have the life everyone dreams of: a mansion, sports cars, and a happy family. On an ordinary day, beautiful wife Sarah (Nicole Kidman) welcomes her husband home from a business trip, successful diamond buyer Kyle (Nicolas Cage). While Kyle is coming home, their teenage daughter Avery (Liana Liberato) secretly sneaks out to attend a friend's party without her parents' knowledge. However, disaster strikes when a four-man robbery crew breaks into the Miller home, kidnapping the couple to carry out their heist.
