After 20 years since graduation, a reunion of college classmates brings together honest Li Zijian and wealthy Zhang Feng, who had previously taken Li's first love in college. After the reunion, Zhang Feng and Li Zijian leave together, and due to overexcitement, they have a car accident. Drunk, Zhang Feng pleads with Li Zijian to take the blame for him and promises 500,000 as a reward. Li Zijian, who is preparing to marry his girlfriend Wenwen and is worried about the down payment for a house, decides to spend a month in detention for Zhang Feng. Upon his release, Li finds out that the seemingly successful Zhang Feng is heavily in debt and has vanished.
