Jack (Gregg Henry) is an unknown actor who has been having some bad luck lately. Not only did he catch his girlfriend with a new beau, but he also had to move out of his apartment and is now homeless. By chance, Jack meets a man named Frank (Russ Marin), who is looking for a trustworthy friend to help watch his house. So, Jack moves into Frank's place, where he discovers Frank's neighbor, a sexy and alluring woman who poses provocatively at her window every day. Although he feels it's wrong, Jack can’t help but watch her, and he gradually becomes lost in the thrill of peeping. One day, Jack witnesses a murder while spying, and unable to call the police yet unwilling to ignore it, he decides to track down the killer on his own.
