Three university professors, Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), specialize in studying ghosts and supernatural phenomena. They decide to leave their campus laboratory and form the "Ghostbusters." Using the latest scientific instruments, they successfully deal with countless ghosts haunting New York City. However, government authorities view them as charlatans.
