Galen (Kim Basinger) is a highly skilled thief who ends up in prison due to the betrayal of George Mann (Gailard Sartain). After being released on bail, Galen decides to retire from her criminal life and aim for a peaceful existence with her son. However, her criminal record makes it difficult for her to find work, and soon she finds herself in a financial crisis. At this critical moment, a thief named Jerry (Val Kilmer) approaches Galen, asking her to return to the criminal world.
