Without a case to solve, one cannot be called a detective──the college student detective known as "Sherlock Holmes," Akechi Kyosuke (played by Nakamura Tomoya), disregards his assistant Yabuura Ren's (played by Kamiki Ryunosuke) warnings and gets involved with the president of the film research club, due to a series of strange incidents within the club: members committing suicide, a terrifying face appearing in a short film, and threatening notes sent regarding an upcoming retreat, causing many members to reconsider their participation. However, the troubles of others are the joys of a detective, and Akechi stubbornly tries to join the retreat but cannot persuade the president. In his distress, the mysterious beautiful girl detective Kenzaki Hiruko (played by Hamabe Minami) appears to help him out, under the conditions of "not asking about her motives" and "joining her."
