After the battle in New York, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) takes his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) back to Asgard to imprison him, while helping the Nine Realms settle their disputes and his fame rises. Although his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) advises him to ascend the throne soon, Thor is still infatuated with the beautiful Earth girl Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).
