Lincoln (played by Ewan McGregor) and Jordan (played by Scarlett Johansson) believe they are living in an isolated community. According to scientists, they are the last surviving humans on Earth. Within their group, a lottery will decide who will be sent to a paradise island to live. However, before they are chosen, they must endure a life of no freedom and constant surveillance.
