The film continues Arnold Schwarzenegger's consistent hero style. In 2019, America has become a dictatorship where dissenting voices are not allowed. Ben (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a police officer who, dissatisfied with the government's orders, refuses to comply and is found guilty and arrested. Now, there is only one opportunity for Ben to regain his freedom: to participate in the television show "The Running Man" and ultimately win.
