We do not know that in such a world, there lives a group of monsters. They look comical, yet they must pretend to be fierce. Because in the dead of night, they quietly appear in children's closets to scare the babies who have just fallen sweetly asleep. Everything is because they are employees of Monsters, Inc., and the screams of children are the only source of energy for the monster kingdom. The monsters are afraid of children, yet they must make children scream. In the land of monsters, they are all heroes serving the greater good.   Sully (John Goodman) is the best employee at Monsters, Inc., always leading in performance, with countless children scared to tears by him. He and his partner Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are beloved by everyone. By chance, Sully accidentally brings a two-year-old girl named Boo (Mary Gibbs) into the monster world, causing great panic as the mischievous and adorable Boo scares these terrifying monsters to chaos. The police are in pursuit of Boo, while the villain Henry (James Coburn) plans to use Boo for his evil scheme to reform the factory.   On the other hand, during his time with Boo, Sully gradually develops inexplicable feelings for her, even leading to his exile into the wilderness. However, nothing can stop Sully's belief in saving the girl; for Boo, he embarks on a perilous journey...
